Chavez President for Life.
Chavez had this to say:
So is this the end of Venezuelan democracy? President-for-life is not one of the options. You can’t have a democracy with a single great leader who is above reproach, and cannot be romoved for 25 years. And with the stuff going on in Bolivia, it is important how far down the Cuban road Chavez takes the Bolivarian revolution. Rampaging global capitalism is a well defined enemy of freedom, but the proper opposing force has yet to be embraced by everyone fighting against it. Chavez said a lot of great things early on, but he keeps acting in reactionary, totalitarian ways. Talk about misdirected energies! -Blake
