We are a house of nerds, and Finnegan will be assimilated. You can really never start too early.
Some of you may recall far into the distant past to the 2008 Ravelympics. I didn’t get a medal (this year will be different!), but did ultimately finish my lofty knitting goal of making myself a fabulous and huge Four Scarf.
I also had quite a bit of leftover yarn, and what better way to stash bust than to make Finnegan a matching hat? It’s the obvious solution.
And here we are together showing off our matching nerd gear…

Awesome! You two make a very cute and crafty pair.
Very very cute hat! And baby, too!
Nerd..is good. I personally have a thing for nerds. (They are always into interesting things.) Especially, if it is a roly-poly Finn. He is just too…cute. The super smile is charming even my husband. The hat is very fashionable. I recently made my brother a Dr. Who (Episode 15) scarf. I made it shorter. According to the real length his would have been 21 feet. He is very tall. He is excited as he lives where they filed it in England. I think little Finn would look good in his own version of one. Arh! Arh! oxoxo, Houston
I want a medal!!! I started the group “Sharing Our Gifts” on Ravelry, and most of us are first-timers for Ravelympics. Ravthletes, start your needled! (but not until Feb. 12…)
Thank you, Mokihana and Stella
Helena, nerds are most excellent (of course, I am clearly biased). Your brother is a lucky guy, knitting those huge scarves is hard work! I suspect when Finn is older and running around he’ll have his very own.
Best of luck to you, Sinclair! I’m determined to get a medal this year and hope you make it too!
