| I used to do a lot of news at KBOO radio here in Portland, and down at
the station I ran into Blake. I didn't know anything about his rock slopera,
and he didn't know I was a drummer - but the news director, Mike Broderick,
put two and two together, and when Blake told Mike about how he needed a new
drummer, and how difficult it was to find a good one, Mike put us in touch.
It took a few weeks to arrange, but Blake, Eli and I got together for that
first jam session and things really clicked. It had been a while since I'd
done the band thing, and it felt really good. |
